EEA Launches C-Suite & Investor Advisory Group, Speakers Bureau for Enterprise Engagement

In response to growing demand for executive leadership in Enterprise Engagement from investors and boards, the Enterprise Engagement Alliance has created a C-suite Advisory Group and Speakers Bureau to help organizations implement and drive CEO-led ISO Annex SL and ISO 10018 Quality People Management-certified people management strategies.

According to Bruce Bolger, President of the Enterprise Engagement Alliance, which introduced the first formal curriculum on a strategic and tactical approach to engagement in 2009, “A fast growing number of investors and boards of directors have recognized the many benefits of engaging people in a formal way, but most CEOs and other organizational leaders have no formal training on the framework and process. At the same time, investors lack a formal way of making sense of all the various disclosures or calls for disclosures related to human capital to provide insights into what is necessary to create sustainable performance through engagement across the organization.”

Explains Allan Schweyer, co-founder of the Enterprise Engagement Alliance and Director of Curriculum: “The compelling economics of this new field call for a new type of leadership at every level that understands not only the significance of engagement, but also the strategic and tactical processes. This requires boards knowledgeable about the processes of Enterprise Engagement and the management characteristics required for success. At the same time, investors need a quick way to make sense of the growing number of public disclosures on human capital to distinguish between vague promises and auditable practices. Our new C-suite Advisory Service is perhaps the only one of its kind that aims to address the concept of engagement as a strategic organizational initiative requiring a formal tactical implementation process in line with ISO Annex SL and ISO 10018 Quality People Management standards, whether a company seeks certification or not.”

Dr. Ron McKinley, co-founder of the International Center for Enterprise Engagement at TheICEE.org, points out that organizations “spend billions each year on motivational and engagement speakers, and in most cases get nothing more than an afternoon of entertainment because there is no sustainable strategy to leverage that energy into practical day-to-day behaviors such as high levels of internal or external customer service, new ideas, or identification of risk, whether in the market or in the organization’s facilities. Our Enterprise Engagement Speakers Bureau is specifically designed to help an organization identify speakers knowledgeable about Enterprise Engagement so that their presentation can help kick off a new commitment to organizational engagement or help sustain one.”

In addition to Enterprise Engagement Alliance founders, speakers can include any number of Certified Engagement Practitioners knowledgeable about engagement who will be able to provide inspiring presentations aligned with an organization’s strategies and plans.
